Q: I've been wondering if anyone has researched the actual "shutter speed" and related external light meter readings/settings for these camers. Like most, I bought mine with a corroded stuck battery in the light-meter compartment. as a result the automatic exposure doesn't work and I'm trying to figure out the best way to just set exposure manually.

A by JP: I'm not 100% sure, but due to its age I would say that the camera should have a fixed shutter angle of 140-160°. If this guess is correct, you should take a look at this list of resulting shutter speeds depending on shutter opening angle. According to this webpage some other S-models do have a 150° shutter angle. You might find details about your camera on this French webpage.
