In 1967 the company "Ansco" got renamed to "GAF". As a result all known Ansco-Super8-cameras have been released under the same name as "GAF"-cameras, too. To avoid confusion and double entries, you'll only find the "GAF"-names in this wiki. E.g. you'll find the entry for the "Ansco ST/1000 Super 8 Movie Camera" (e.g.) only as "GAF ST/1000".
It still hasn't been decided how to handle the other Ansco-cameras, e.g. the Double8-cameras that haven't been distributed by GAF
